Job description

Title: SharePoint & Power Platform Developer

Location: Remote (must be located in DC area)

Terms: Full Time

Clearance: Qualified candidates must be US citizens and able to obtain a minimum of a Public Trust clearance.

Travel: Occasional (up to 25%)

Position Description:

Sara Software, is seeking a SharePoint & Power Platform Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience with SharePoint Online, Power Platform development, canvas and model-driven apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI dashboards.

Responsibilities:

In this role, a typical day will include:

·       Building and customizing SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, pages, and workflows.

·       Developing applications and components using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform, or other Microsoft 365 tools.

·       Automating business processes using Power Automate, forms, and custom logic.

·       Integrating SharePoint and Power Platform with third-party systems and data sources.

·       Ensuring apps and solutions follow governance, security, and compliance standards.

·       Experience CI/CD pipeline tasks for Power Apps, including setting connection references, exporting managed solutions in one environment, and importing solutions into another environment.

·       Troubleshooting issues, maintaining existing features, and supporting end users with enhancements.

Requirements:

·       8+ years of experience in developing SharePoint and Power Platform apps and solutions.

·       Experience using Aging development methods and processes.

·       Ability to provide estimate of design and development work to support sprint planning.

·       Experience with migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Microsoft SharePoint Migration Tool, etc.)

·       Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

·       Must be a US Citizen.

Desired:

·       Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-900, PL-200, PL-400, PL-600, etc.)

·       Experience with source control (e.g., Git), including forking and cloning repositories, branching, committing and pushing, and pull requests.

·       Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for Power Apps deployments (e.g., Azure DevOps, Power Platform Build Tools, Azure Pipelines, Power Platform Pipelines, etc.)

·       Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, GitHub, and Dataverse.
