Position                               : SHAREPOINT ARCHITECT
Location                               : Atlanta, GA
Duration                              : 9 - 12 months
Rate                                       : $100-105/hr C2C ALL INCL

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overall 4+ years of experience in MS SharePoint. Should have prior 3+ years of experience in customization of MS SharePoint Platform with recent experiences on MS SharePoint 2010.
  • Preferred code customization should have been done using C# / ASP.NET, XML and usage of GAC, Web Parts, Event Receivers, JavaScript, Workflow, Object Models, schema.xml, Forms and Master Pages
  • Should have experience as an Architect on at least 2 large scale enterprise wide / global projects consisting of large volume of data and concurrent users or 4 Medium scale projects but should be enterprise wide / global consisting of Enterprise Content / Record Management
  • Should have experience on using Information Architecture / Design Patterns and Usage of Best Practices
  • Should have experience in design using Service-Oriented Architecture, Design Patterns, URI Namespace Management, Search-Engine Optimization, Branding & UI Design and Application Security
  • Should have experience on documentation of Architecture and Design Documents for projects using UML, OOA / OOD
  • Should have experience in participating and contributing to pre-sales / post sale technology selection of MS SharePoint stack, estimation using different methods, etc.
  • Should demonstrate involvement in code reviews, identifying / diagnosing performance / scalability bottlenecks, gets hands down on implementing Proof of Concepts, etc.
  • Must be well versed with latest technology advancement and tools and should be able to provide alternatives with clear value-benefits
  • Good working knowledge of different Servers like SharePoint Server 2010 & SharePoint Foundation 2010, Virtualization platforms (VMWAre, XenServer, Hyper-V) and Windows Server 2008 R2 and IIS 7.0, Active Directory.
  • Good understanding of web standards and designing using XHTML & HTML, XML, DocTypes, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, RSS & ATOM feeds, Microformats, Intelligent UserAgent Targeting and Mashups.
  • Good knowledge of networking concepts such as DMZ, Network load balancing, Firewalls etc.
  • Good Knowledge of profiling tools such as Performance profiler and Memory profilers, debugging tools etc.
  • Good knowledge of software configuration management concepts, continuous integration and tools
  • Good knowledge of Web and network security concepts General Skills
  • Excellent communication skills with abilities to work with non-technical business users as well as technical team members
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude, highly organized and takes ownership
  • Experienced with Iterative Development Methods and Exposure to Agile methods will be a plus
