Shared Service Accounting Manager Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Position Overview A growing healthcare services organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead general ledger accounting operations, oversee month-end close activities, and drive process improvements across a complex, multi-entity environment. This is a highly visible role that requires a hands-on, adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and can effectively manage the domestic and work with the offshore accounting teams. Key Responsibilities Lead general ledger accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Own and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Review and analyze financial results, including flux analysis and account reconciliations. Oversee general ledger accounting activities and maintain strong internal controls. Partner with executive leadership to support financial reporting, compliance, and business initiatives. Lead a combination of onshore and offshore accounting personnel, providing coaching, accountability, and performance management. Drive process improvements, standardization efforts, and operational efficiencies across multiple systems and business units. Ensure adherence to accounting policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements. Support audits and work closely with external auditors and advisors. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA strongly preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management responsibilities. Prior accounting experience within a complex, multi-location, or multi-entity organization. Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting experience. Experience managing month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Proven ability to lead through change and improve accounting processes. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to thrive in a demanding environment and effectively manage competing priorities. Preferred Qualifications Healthcare services, dental services, physician practice management, or other healthcare-related industry experience. Experience working with offshore/shared service accounting teams. Familiarity with ERP systems.
