Your Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity exists to develop as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within a collaborative team on 2 North at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital. 2 North is a 30-inpatient bed unit providing care for our geriatric assessment unit. You will be responsible for providing excellent patient and family centered care supporting the needs of our patients. As an LPN on 2 North, you will collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team consisting of Nurses, Physicians, Allied Health professionals and support workers, fostering a unit culture that values and respects individual team members and their expertise. As the successful candidate you will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively maintain collaborative working relationships with members of the multidisciplinary team; decision making, problem solving, and critical thinking skills using sound clinical reasoning; patient advocacy and patient education skills; time management and prioritization skills; conflict resolution skills and promotion of a positive teamwork environment while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.
