Job description

As an Operations Systems Administrator, you'll be the behind-the-scenes expert who keeps critical credit union systems running smoothly. From managing automated workflows and secure data transfers to supporting enterprise applications and troubleshooting production issues, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations efficient, reliable, and secure.

In this role, you'll partner with IT teams, business units, and vendors to implement upgrades, resolve complex system issues, and identify opportunities to improve automation and streamline processes. Job Duties:

  • Administer and maintain batch automation processes, system integrations, and enterprise applications to ensure reliable daily operations
  • Create, schedule, monitor, and maintain OpCon jobs and workflows to support timely daily, nightly, and recurring processing
  • Provide prompt and effective support for Service Desk tickets and requests, serving as a key resource for operational systems and applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, job failures, and application errors to minimize disruptions and maintain system performance
  • Manage secure file transfer (SFTP) connections and integrations, ensuring accurate and timely data exchange with internal and external partners
  • Coordinate application upgrades, patches, and configuration changes, including testing and deployment activities to minimize production impact

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
  • 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in IT operations, systems administration, or a related technical support role
  • Experience supporting batch processing, job scheduling, and automation platforms, including OpCon or similar tools
  • Proven experience administering and supporting enterprise applications in a production environment
  • Experience managing secure file transfer (SFTP) processes and integrations with internal and external partners
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, system failures, and application-related incidents
  • Experience providing Service Desk support and responding to technical incidents in a regulated or mission-critical environment
