Job description

Job Title: Salesforce Marketing Cloud with strong integration experience.

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: Long Term.

Need someone local to plano, TX with atleast 12+ years of experience.

This position is based in Plano, TX, with a hybrid mix of some in-office time and some remote work.

Who weโ€™re looking for:

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer holds a critical role in identifying feature requirements, outlining the team's technical vision, and converting these elements into a comprehensive backlog for the development team. This individual is charged with providing technical leadership on customer communications platforms, fostering innovation, and assuring successful execution of requirements. Additionally, this role entails managing external SaaS providers and vendors to amplify our technical capabilities. The role demands a fusion of deep technical expertise, superior execution skills, and exceptional communication abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

As the Technical Lead (TL) for a factory, this position requires an individual with robust technical engineering expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The TL will supervise the technical design of the communication lifecycle journeys and direct the factory's technological strategy. Collaborating closely with the Product Owner, Domain Architects, and Technology Domain Owners, the TL will be integral to assembling and maintaining a high-performing factory. They are tasked with aligning the team's technological proficiency with the product roadmap.

What youโ€™ll be doing:

  • Ensure efficient execution of overall product delivery by prioritizing, planning, and tracking sprint progress. This can include the development of shippable code.
  • Actively engages in product and business discussions with a technical eye for feasibility and adherence to overall roadmaps and architectural strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Domain Owner and Architects to identify appropriate technologies, and frameworks, and design robust and scalable solutions.
  • Communicate the technical vision, project progress, and potential roadblocks to stakeholders and team members.
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of the requirements to identify technical challenges, dependencies, and potential risks.
  • Develop and QA dynamic ADA-compliant HTML emails with personalized content using scripting languages such as AMPScript
  • Create, update, and maintain Email Journeys using Marketing Cloud Automation Studio
  • Write T-SQL queries to manipulate and transform CRM campaigns and reports
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, promoting best practices and efficient coding standards.
  • Influence and establish software engineering best practices. Creating a framework of technical standards and procedures.
  • Work as part of an agile scrum team to deliver business value.

What you bring:

  • Bachelors in information technology (or higher).
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
  • Experience in Marketing Analytics.
  • Experience in AXIOM is mandatory
  • Proficient with HTML, JavaScript, JSON, XML, email scripting languages (AMP Script preferred) and personalization strings
  • Deep understanding of email KPIs, metrics, and reporting
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring a technical team.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, quality assurance, and operations.
  • Regularly contribute as a hands-on senior developer in the development, automation, testing, and environment management activities on Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
  • IT experience playing a key role in full life cycle implementation and a proven record of timely, successful deliverables.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform experience as an architect, product manager, or Senior Developer
  • Marketing cloud implementation experience leveraging Email and Mobile Studio, Data Integrations using APIs and Salesforce connector, Automation, Journeys, and Interaction Studio.
  • Familiarity with systems integrations such as CRM, Data Loader and web analytics tools (Tableau Analytics preferred)
  • Required certification(s): = Marketing Cloud Email Specialist (Current)
  • REST API analysis, design to get required data by communicating with external systems.
  • Fintech and Martech experience in large-scale implementations, with an emphasis on enterprise information systems across multiple functions

Added bonus if you have

  • Preferred Certifications: Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Administrator
  • Current knowledge of AMP scripting and programming languages, various business applications, state-of-the-art technology, and current trends in the computer industry.
