Medical Coordinator

Now Hiring: Medical Coordinator
Northern Michigan Children's Assessment Center (NMCAC)

The Northern Michigan Children's Assessment Center is seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting children, families, and victims of sexual assault by providing oversight and coordination of our medical services programs.

Position Details

  • Salary: $30.25 - $36.20 per hour
  • Hours: Minimum of 32 hours per week
  • Schedule: Flexible hours with a hybrid work schedule
  • Primary Office Location: Roscommon, Michigan
  • Travel: Occasional travel to our satellite office in Tawas
  • In-Office Requirements: Tuesdays and Fridays

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and coordination of the NMCAC Medical Program
  • Coordinate and support non-acute medical examinations for children
  • Assist with administration and oversight of the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program, The First Step Program
  • Support program compliance, documentation, reporting, and quality improvement activities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, healthcare providers, and community partners
  • Assist with scheduling, tracking services, and ensuring continuity of care for clients

Qualifications

  • Healthcare, nursing, program coordination, or related experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations is preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between office locations
