How You Will Make a Difference:
- Responsible for constructing sample garments.
- Receives tech packs and identifies trim and findings.
- Cuts and assembles sample quality garments according to specified requirements provided.
- Reviews garments for general appearance and deviations.
- Report completion of garment to sample coordinator.
- Assists with normal machine maintenance and/or request additional maintenance from mechanics.
Skills for Success:
- High School diploma
- Production sewing experience with an overall understanding of industrial sewing machines
- Extensive knowledge of product development standards
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Requires interpretation of written specifications
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees
- Requires a general understanding of available product features offered
- Sewing experience in a variety of styles and constructions
- Must be adaptable to changes in both internal and external customer demands and expectations.
