Aurora Sewing Center is looking for a highly creative, digitally savvy, and self-driven Marketing Coordinator to lead and execute our marketing efforts across multiple channels and locations. What Youโ€™ll Do:
As our Marketing Coordinator, you will own and execute marketing initiatives that support business growth both in-store and digitally, manage customer engagement, and brand awareness across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns aligned with company goals and vendor promotions
  • Manage and grow digital advertising campaigns through marketing channels including:
    • Email marketing.
    • Social media (Facebook/Meta, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Business).
    • Website promotions and content.
  • Create engaging and visually compelling marketing assets including:
    • Social media graphics and posts.
    • Email campaigns.
    • Print materials and signage.
    • Promotional videos and digital content.
  • Manage website content including products, events, classes, promotions, and SEO optimization.
  • Track campaign performance, analyze metrics, and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all customer touchpoints.
  • Coordinate and promote in-store events, educational programs, and off-site experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with store teams to understand products, customer trends, and promotional opportunities.
  • Work with vendors to advance and refresh our website capabilities and customer interface and experience.
  • Work with vendor marketing portals and co-op opportunities to maximize brand exposure.
  • Engage with customers online by responding to messages, comments, reviews, and social interactions.
  • Lead and support the Marketing Assistant through project coordination and prioritization.
  • Present campaign performance insights and recommendations to ownership.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of solid digital marketing experience.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
Strong experience with:
  • Digital Advertising:
    • Website management, SEO, analytics, and email marketing.
    • Meta Business Suite.
    • Google Analytics & Google Advertising.
    • YouTube and social media management.
  • Creative - Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.
  • Website management - Shopify.
  • Email campaigns - Klaviyo.
  • Project management experience.
  • Retail marketing or Customer service experience preferred.
  • Interest or knowledge in sewing, quilting, embroidery, or creative hobbies is strongly preferred.
