Industrial Sewing Machine Operator, Evening Shift

Location: Celina, TX
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:15 PM–2:45 AM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Weekends: None

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join a growing production team in Celina, TX.

This is a hands-on production position responsible for sewing and finishing materials of various sizes using industrial sewing equipment. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of industrial sewing experience, is comfortable working in a production environment, and can consistently meet quality and productivity standards.

This is a full-time evening-shift opportunity with four 10-hour shifts per week and no regularly scheduled weekend work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial sewing machines to sew and finish materials of various sizes
  • Seam materials together according to production specifications
  • Hem materials and attach binding to edges
  • Sew Velcro and other accessories onto finished products
  • Install grommets around finished materials using a power grommet press
  • Accurately measure materials and work with fractional measurements
  • Inspect completed work for quality and consistency
  • Meet established production and quality standards
  • Identify and troubleshoot basic sewing machine issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Work independently and collaboratively with members of the production team
  • Participate in process and continuous-improvement activities
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of industrial sewing experience
  • Experience operating an industrial sewing machine in a professional or production environment
  • Ability to accurately add, subtract, and divide fractional measurements
  • Ability to maintain quality and production standards
  • Reliable attendance and ability to consistently work the required evening schedule
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout a 10-hour shift
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience performing basic industrial sewing machine troubleshooting or maintenance
  • Experience installing grommets using a power grommet press
  • Experience sewing binding, Velcro, or similar accessories onto manufactured products
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Compensation & Benefits
