Position: Press Make Ready
Location: Waco
Shift Options: 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Pay Rate: $21.74/hour

Summary Description

Reporting directly to the Department Supervisor, the Press Make Ready Technician is responsible for cleaning, preparing, and staging press components safely and efficiently to support printing operations and production flow.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Collaborate closely with other departments and teams

  • Prepare printing press parts by cleaning, wiping, and washing components

  • Pull, sort, and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to organizational standards

  • Open bales, crates, and containers as needed

  • Troubleshoot issues and make quick decisions during setup activities

  • Make basic process adjustments and monitor product quality

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

  • Perform duties assigned by supervisor or manager

  • Support company quality and safety policies

  • Assist other departments as needed

  • Wear required PPE at all times
