Job Description
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Machine Operator is responsible for responsible for setting up and operating machinery and equipment with specified materials or solution(s).
Job Type: Full time, onsite
Schedule: Varies by shift and department
Responsibilities
  • Conform to all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Operate equipment according to SOP and specifications provided
  • Regulate machine speeds, temperature, air pressure, circulation flow and coatings to material(s), if applicable
  • Consistently check material to ensure in-depth quality measures
  • Assist in weekly preventative maintenance and cleanings
  • Perform barcode functions, as necessary
  • Sustain housekeeping guidelines
  • Operate fork-lift or tugger (may apply)
  • All other duties, as assigned

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to climb multiple steps, lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours
  • Must be willing and able to work as a team member
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills
  • Must be able to be fit for a respirator, if applicable
  • Pre-employment physical, drug screen & background check required
