Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing and recruiting firm, is currently hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join their production team in Baton Rouge. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining automated sewing machines to produce high-quality products promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience with automated sewing systems, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities

**

  • Operate automated sewing machines to perform stitching tasks on various fabrics, ensuring precise stitching patterns and consistent product quality.
  • Set up and calibrate machines before production runs, ensuring they are correctly configured for each specific order.
  • Monitor the operation of automated sewing machines to ensure consistent performance and identify any irregularities such as fabric misalignment, thread breakage, or machine malfunctions.
