Organizational Location: These positions are located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations.

You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
- Possess extensive knowledge of the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) mission and operations;
- Possess demonstrated experience in applying SEVP regulations, practices and policies;
- Possess demonstrated experience interpreting SEVP regulations and policies and providing direct guidance to an Office of International Programs at an academic institution and/or to nonimmigrant international students.
You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
- Possess extensive knowledge of the Student and Exchange Visitor Program(SEVP) mission and operations and demonstrated experience in applying its regulations, practices and policies;
- Possess demonstrated experience interpreting SEVP regulations and policies and providing direct guidance to an Office of International Programs at an academic institution and/or to nonimmigrant international students;
- Possess demonstrated hands-on experience, including accessing the SEVIS database on a regular basis, working with an Office of International Programs at an academic institution and/or with nonimmigrant international students.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
