Setup Technician - Hart Area

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for machine setup and ensuring efficient production changeovers? The Pivot Group Network, a West Michigan manufacturing-focused recruiting group, is dedicated to building meaningful connections and supporting community growth. We are collaborating with leading companies in Hart seeking experienced Setup Technicians to drive results.

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Hart seeking Setup Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maintain various manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and adjustments according to production schedules and specifications.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, performing minor repairs as needed.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize setup procedures and improve efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards during equipment setup and operation.
  • Document setup parameters, maintenance activities, and equipment performance for record-keeping.

Recommended Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents (e.g., blueprints, schematics)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
