Job Description CNC Setup Technician - Direct Hire | Indianapolis, IN Pinnacle Partners is a staffing firm specializing in Information Technology, Accounting & Finance, Administrative, Human Resources, and Engineering/Manufacturing roles. We support clients and candidates in Indianapolis, Louisville, Cincinnati, and other cities across the Midwest. About the Role Our client in the Indianapolis area is hiring CNC Setup Technicians across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift.

In this role, you'll set up, run, and inspect parts on a variety of CNC lathes, mills, and grinders - a great opportunity for a motivated machinist to grow into a highly skilled, hands-on role. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and perform quality checks on CNC lathes, mills, and grinders Determine the correct tooling and materials, then set up the machine to run the job Oversee multiple machines running simultaneously Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other quality gauges Partner with the engineering team to efficiently run and troubleshoot parts Requirements: 1+ years of experience setting up CNC machines (lathes, mills, or grinders) Associate's degree or technical training in machining Comfortable using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools Basic understanding of CNC programming (conversational or G & M code) is a plus Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Position Type: Direct Hire Compensation: Up to $33/hour, depending on experience
