The Role


Are you ready to level up your technical career? As a Wireless Technician I, you will handle the hands-on installation and maintenance of RF telecommunications equipment. This role is designed for a self-starter who has mastered the basics and is eager to develop specialized skills in RF systems, site infrastructure, and advanced troubleshooting.


What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Technical Installation: Install antennas, radios, mounts, and RF cables with a focus on accuracy and craftsmanship.
  • Systems Integration: Perform cable routing, grounding, and weatherproofing to meet strict code requirements.
  • Testing & Tech: Conduct basic equipment setup, configuration, and assist in testing/troubleshooting and RF studies.
  • Site Management: Maintain flawless site documentation and photo records to ensure project closeouts are seamless.
  • Safety Stewardship: Execute all fieldwork according to company safety protocols, ensuring a zero-incident environment for yourself and your team.

Requirements:


Who You Are

  • Flexible: Some weeks youโ€™ll be working at a local job site, but most weeks youโ€™ll be traveling to sites in our market area across New York, northern New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.
  • Hands On: Most of our work is on active construction sites as buildings are erected. Youโ€™ll be working as part of a small team to install and test our systems.
  • Experienced: 1โ€“2 years of telecom or technical installation experience (preferred).
  • Technical: You understand RF components and site hardware, and you can read installation drawings like a pro.
  • Problem-Solver: You have basic troubleshooting skills and arenโ€™t afraid to dive into the "why" behind a technical issue.
  • Reliable: You have a valid driverโ€™s license, a clean driving record, and the physical ability to lift 50+ lbs.
  • OSHA 10 certification or will have to be obtained after employment.
  • Certified: A NICET IB-PSC Technician I certification is a strong plus but not necessary.
