Who we are looking for

We are seeking CNC Setup/Operators to perform machine setups and operate CNC (computer numerical controlled) machinery to fabricate parts that meet customer specifications. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC mills or lathes, running production and non-production jobs, and supporting quality and process standards on the shop floor. We are currently hiring for both shifts.

  • 1st Shift: 6am-3:30pm, 5 day work week, Monday-Friday
  • 2nd Shift: 4pm-4:30am, 4 day work week, Monday-Thursday
What you will get to do
  • Perform complete setups on 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC mills or CNC lathes to machine parts that meet customer specifications
  • Verify machine readiness and safely operate vertical and horizontal machining centers following setup completion
  • Perform inspection per Process Routing Documents and accurately document results to ensure part conformance
  • Troubleshoot machining or quality issues in coordination with supervisors and quality personnel
  • Complete production reports and associated documentation
  • Perform daily equipment maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Perform manual deburring operations as needed
  • Follow all applicable Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and safety standards
  • Safeguard company, customer, and supplier property
What you bring to the team
  • 2-5 years CNC experience with 1+ years of appropriate setup experience.
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Must have experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
  • Proficient with machining operations like, drilling, milling and tapping
  • Familiar with vertical and horizontal machines
  • Demonstrates inspection competence.
  • Demonstrates basic mathematical skills
  • Has both mechanical and technical capacity
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required
