Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Claims Adjuster in Green Bay, WI to investigate, analyze and resolve claims and incidents. The Claims Adjuster will negotiate claims involving property, injuries, freight, workers compensation and subrogation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage initial and ongoing field investigations.
  • Secure all necessary information to properly evaluate claims made against Schneider.
  • Act as the single point of contact for all parties involved in managing a claim.
  • Review claims for negligence, liability exposure, damages, subrogation potential, fraud and more.
  • Ensure actions and strategies are executed that will provide the best overall outcome for the organization.
  • Work with the Counsel in cases where legal actions have been initiated by or against Schneider.
  • Attend hearings, trials, mediations and settlement meetings as a corporate representative.
  • Accurately document all claims activities.

  • Associate degree or paralegal certificate.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
