Die Setter
Type: Full-time, temp to hire
Salary: $20 -$27 / hour depending upon experience
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:00am โ€“ 4:30pm; Fri 7am-11am

Location: Euclid
What you need to be successful in this role:
  • 1-3 years Stamping or equivalent Die Setter Experience
  • 5 years in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic Print reading
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Familiarity with stamping machines, 35 ton to 400-ton punch presses, both single hit and automatic
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Safety oriented
  • Tow motor experience
  • Crane experience
  • Having own tools, a plus
The essential and primary responsibilities include:
  • Set presses and fixtures
  • Load coils of sheet metal onto the presses
  • Load stamping dies onto the presses
  • Inspect products for quality assurance
  • Use precision measuring tools, such as micrometers and calipers, to ensure products are made to specification
  • Troubleshoot issues with equipment
  • Assist operators as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace
  • Set work areas by moving raw materials or components pieces to stations
  • Sign in operators for their daily tasks by, evaluating safety equipment, instructing on proper operation of job
This position reports to the Production and General managers, and is required to work with shipping, material handling, and quality. This position also trains and instructs employees on daily job operations.
Education / Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in the stamping industry or piece/part manufacturing is preferred
  • Computer literacy (Windows/Office environment)
Physical Demands:
  • Standing and walking โ€“ 95%; Sitting โ€“ 5%.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
