Agile Program Manager
Description of specific duties in a typical workday for this position:
  • Lead and oversee Agile program execution to ensure alignment with the Government's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Implement and optimize Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) across teams to enhance productivity, transparency, and quality of deliverables.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews) and ensure continuous improvement within all Agile teams.
  • Mentor and coach team members and stakeholders in Agile principles, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent Agile projects.
  • Drive Agile transformation initiatives, implementing best practices that scale effectively across large and complex organizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including product owners, developers, analysts, and stakeholders-to ensure consistent communication and delivery.
  • Monitor progress and performance metrics, providing regular reporting and updates to senior leadership and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
  • Ensure compliance with all contract requirements, including the timely submission and COR approval of Agile PM replacements within 30 days in the event of departure.

Requirements (Years of experience, Education, Certifications):
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Management, or a related field Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile project or program management (previous PEO STRI SETA contracts do not count toward Agile experience).
  • Proven track record of successfully leading at least three (3) Agile projects from initiation to completion.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects involving cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience executing projects that required rapid iteration and feedback loops, such as software development, systems integration, or product management.
  • Familiarity with Agile transformation initiatives within organizations, including scaling Agile practices across enterprise environments.

Nice to Have (skills that are not required, but nice to have):
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification(s).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credential is a plus.
