GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Crew Members at  (dba Jersey Mike’s) will be helping with customer needs as they enter and interact in the store. Employees will work the front counter, be responsible for customer service, making sandwiches, interacting with customers and co- workers on a continual basis. Crew members will complete other tasks associated with operating a store. The expectation of any employee is to uphold the highest level of all of Jersey Mike’s operational standards.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary requirement of a  (dba Jersey Mike’s) Crew Member is a commitment to company goals:

  • Provide food that meets Jersey Mike’s specifications and high-quality standards

  • Provide service that is above and beyond for the customer

  • Maintain a clean store and workplace

  • Set up of the store, including food preparation

  • Food safety and sanitation, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, etc.

  • Usage of slicer (18 years old and above only)

  • Usage of tomato slicer (17 years old and above only)

  • Follow directives of Operations Partner in execution of responsibilities

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 0-1 year experience in food service 

  • 0-1 year experience in cash handling 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Incumbent of the position performs constant vigorous physical tasks requiring long periods of standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and lifting, all generally involving moderate muscular strain in addition to seeing, hearing, and talking. Safely using all store food preparation equipment for long periods with the required application of eye, hand and finger dexterity. Must be able to lift and carry up to at least fifty (50) pounds unassisted. Periodic local travel required in normal course of job performance.
