About the Job

Working with the Brand Director, Catface is looking for a Contract Minecraft Set Designer interested working effectively in a fast-paced YouTube environment to assist with the creation of multiple small to mid-sized sets. Ideal for an experienced builder capable of learning brand guidelines, new mods, tools, and able to make changes to builds based on the projects creative direction. Portfolio must be attached for consideration.


What You'll Do

  • Assist production teams with in-game sets.
  • Work with Lead Builders and/or independently to complete required sets with minimal supervision according to brand standards and direction.
  • Translate scripts to convey tones into the theme of set design


What We're Looking For

  • Extensive knowledge of the Minecraft platform
  • Minimum four (4) years of Minecraft building experience
  • Passion for YouTube content, desire to understand how it works, and ability to absorb and learn to improve videos, brainstorm ideas and expand in successful ways.
  • Proficient knowledge of the mods Chisels & Bits and/or Little Tiles
  • Mastery of basic Minecraft server commands and command block scripting
  • Mastery of World Edit and/or Voxel Sniper
  • Extensive knowledge of the Minecraft YouTube space with the ability to analyze developing building and techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced entertainment environment and shift gears at a moment's notice.
  • Great and timely communication skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old
