Warranty Administrator Job Description:
The Huffines Warranty Administrator reviews and processes all warranty claims for the service department. They also assist in the procurement and tracking of replacement parts and monitor the progress of all warranty-related service work. Warranty Administrators are adept at multi-tasking, working in a fast-paced environment, and understanding complex processes and procedures.
Warranty Administrator Job Responsibilities:
  • Processing all warranty claims for reimbursement
  • Maintaining warranty receivable schedules to secure payment
  • Assisting Service Department in use of proper operation codes and labor times applicable to warranty repairs
  • Reviewing and distributing manufactures' campaigns, product recalls and bulletins
  • Ensuring all aspects of the warranty process are fulfilled for audit requirements
  • Maintaining electronic/filling records of all claims submitted, returned/rejected or paid
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Warranty Administrator Job Requirements:
  • Two years Warranty Administrator experience with an automotive dealership required
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of activities, methods, procedures and policies of the Service Department
  • General knowledge of product installation activities
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License required
  • Excellent communication and listening skills to resolve issues in a professional and tactful manner over the phone and in person
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • In-person position, working onsite at the dealership
