Performance Dodge in Ferriday, LA is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Service Manager to lead our high-performing service department. We're looking for a strong communicator and proven leader who can deliver an exceptional service experience, ensure efficient shop operations, and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.
About the Role
The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the service department, managing a team of technicians and advisors, building strong customer relationships, and driving department profitability. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, and committed to delivering top-tier service.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and manage all service department staff, including advisors, technicians, and support personnel
  • Ensure an excellent customer experience from check-in to vehicle delivery
  • Maintain high standards of quality control and safety
  • Manage department performance, productivity, and profitability
  • Oversee warranty claims, repair orders, and compliance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Monitor technician workloads and dispatch work efficiently
  • Recruit, train, and develop service department employees
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and organized service environment
  • Collaborate with Parts and Sales to support overall dealership operations

Qualifications
  • Automotive service management experience required (CDJR experience is a plus)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage workflow, delegate tasks, and meet departmental goals
  • Knowledge of automotive repair processes and dealership service operations
  • Experience with DMS systems (Dealertrack, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc.) preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
