Job description

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Account Manager specializing in the trucking industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management with a focus on serving clients within the trucking and transportation sector. This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the trucking industry.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, policy changes, and claims processing.
Analyze client insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
Generate new business opportunities through prospecting and networking within the trucking industry.
Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and pricing for client policies.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance products.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients regarding risk management strategies.
Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients, explaining coverage options and pricing.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of policy documents, endorsements, and renewals.
Monitor client accounts for opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional insurance products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance sales or account management, preferably within the trucking industry.
Proven track record of meeting sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverage options.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
Proficiency in AMS 360 software is ideal.
Insurance industry certifications (e.g., CIC, CRM) preferred but not required.
