Job description

These positions are with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Atlanta Region. They are in the Atlanta West Area Office and Jacksonville Area Office.

  • The selectee will be expected to report to the office; this is not a virtual position.
  • This position is outside the bargaining unit.
  • A writing sample may be required at the time of interview.
Qualifications:

You must meet the Specialized Experience to qualify for Management Analyst, as described below.

Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.

To qualify for the GS-09: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-07. Qualifying specialized experience for the GS-09 includes: Maintaining and tracking office budget, performing research, gathering data, preparing reports, presenting briefings or analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of program operations.

Education: To qualify based on education applicants must have a master's or equivalent graduate degree; or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
or
A qualifying combination of education and competencies as described above.
