We are looking for a Chief Information Technology Officerย andย Commercialย Marketing andย AppDevย Product Group lead that will report to our Americas Chief Information Technology Officer. The position is based out of Toronto, ON or Montreal, QB.ย 

ABOUT THE JOB:ย ย

As a core member of the Americas IT & Data Leadership Team, this roleย serves as the strategic liaison between IT & Data and the 1Bย Canadian business. The position ensures strong alignment betweenย localย business priorities and global technology strategy, driving delivery excellence and business satisfaction. Partnering closely with Canadian leadership and local and global IT product teams, this leader translates business strategy into scalable technology and data solutions.ย ย 

Representingย IT & Data at the Canadian leadershipย team, the role ensures technology and data accelerate growth, operational efficiency, and digital transformation.ย Additionally, the role holdsย end-to-endย accountability for theย Business Partner model for the US and Canada, reflecting the strong interdependency of platforms, run operations, and commercial execution across both markets.ย 

Commercialย Marketingย Product Groupย andย AppDevย Chapterย Leadย - Americasย 

Lead theย Commercialย Marketingย Product Groupย andย App Developer Chaptersย for the entire Americas region, owning the strategy, roadmap, delivery, performance and value creation ofย Commercialย Marketingย products, including:ย B2B,ย B2C,ย Costumer & Consumer Engagementย andย CRMย platformsย that supportย 11Bย revenueย across Canada, US, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.ย 

This includes responsibility for the product group P&L, squads, and strategic alignment with regional and global stakeholders.ย 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:ย ย 

Canada CIOย 

Strategic Business Partneringย 

  • Act as main point of contact between business and IT & Data function to align on strategic priorities, roadmapsย ย 

  • Identifyย business technology needs and strategies and develop a strategic roadmap of products and services to enable growth, developing business cases to secure commitment for deliveryย 

  • Ensure related priorities are clearly and consistently communicated to business and IT & Data organizationย 

  • Manages IT strategic roadmap for business organization to IT & Data organization (ie, Product Group Leaders) and secures commitment of delivery within IT & Data organizationย 

Performance & Value Creationย 

  • Optimizesย business interactions with IT & Data, providing more efficiency and quality to deliveryย 

  • Identifyย opportunities for technology and analytics to generate value for businessย 

  • Manage business continuity and reliability by ensuring IT & Data operations are performing and delivering without disruption; engage and manage escalations asย requiredย 

Governance & Relationship Managementย 

  • Manage project and product portfolio within the assigned business areaย 

  • Provide consultation during all phases of product development, including ensuring business requirements areย identifiedย 

  • Help institute product ownership and management using agile (Scrum) Framework and delivery modelย 

  • Represent Canada in regional and global IT forums, ensuring visibility of local needs and alignment with global standardsย 

  • Works closelyย withย business stakeholders throughout multiple areas under his/her responsibility, coordinates IT strategy within Product Group Leaders and connects with Product Ownersย 

Commercialย Marketingย Product Group Lead - Americasย 

Vision & Strategyย 

  • Define and embody the strategic vision for theย Commercialย Marketingย product group and translate it into a multi-year roadmap for the Americas regionย 

  • Identifyย needs for new platforms,ย capabilitiesย or squads, ensuring coherence across products that support NORAM and LATAM operationsย 

Product Delivery & Portfolio Managementย 

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery ofย Commercialย Marketingย products, ensuring value creation and alignment with customer and user needsย 

  • Govern the product groupย 3.5Mย P&L,ย optimizingย value vs. cost and prioritizing within an agile portfolio frameworkย 

  • Ensure product quality,ย timelyย releases,ย stabilityย and continuous improvementย 

Team Leadership & Operating Modelย 

  • Lead Product Owners and squads across the Americas region, creating an environment of innovation and high performance for team members spread across five countries and multiple time zonesย 

  • Promote adoption of Agile frameworks, consistent ways of working and cross-market collaborationย 

  • Maintain strong relationships with markets, functions, Product Group peers, and global stakeholdersย

QUALIFICATIONSย 

  • MBA or other advanced degree in IT, Business Systems or Data and Analyticsย requiredย 

  • Scrum Master (CSM or PSM) certification preferredย ย 

  • 15+ years in IT & Data leadership rolesย 

  • Bilingual in English and Frenchย required, fluency in Spanish a plusย 

  • Significantย expertiseย in Commercial technologies: Sales, Marketing, Ecommerce, RGM, CRM, Customer Data, Master Dataย with experience in Salesforce, KANTAR,ย Commerce Tools platformsย a plusย 

  • Solid grasp of data integration,ย analyticsย and business insightย 

  • Strong communication, stakeholderย managementย and problem-solving skillsย 

  • Experience leading product groups, productย ownersย and agile squadsย 

  • Provenย track recordย of partnering with senior business leaders and influencing transformation.ย 

  • Demonstrated leadershipย experienceย acrossย largeย multi-country, multicultural teamsย (Americas preferred)ย 

  • Ability to connect strategy with execution while removing roadblocksย
