Description
In Charge Electric - Aftermarket Division (Houston area)
Come join one of the largest residential electrical construction companies in Texas! In Charge Electric is expanding our Aftermarket Division in Houston and hiring multiple licensed Service Electricians.
These openings are for electricians who will be assigned to a dedicated lane based on experience and team needs:
  • Base Power Electricians (service, repair, upgrades, reliability solutions)
  • Apprentice Electrician (assist Electricians with service, upgrades, troubleshooting, repairs)

If you're a strong residential service electrician who takes pride in doing it right and enjoys helping customers understand their options, we want to talk with you. Full details of the compensation plan will be shared during the interview process.
What You'll Do
Base Power Electricians:
  • Diagnose and repair residential electrical issues and complete service upgrades
  • Install/replace electrical components and recommend reliability/safety improvements
  • Communicate clearly with homeowners and present solution options

Apprentice Electrician:
  • Assist electricians with residential electrical installations, repairs, and service upgrades
  • Prepare tools, materials, and job sites to ensure efficient workflow
  • Support troubleshooting efforts and learn proper installation techniques
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Provide professional and respectful interaction with homeowners when on-site

What We're Looking For
  • Licensed Electricians with 5+ years of residential service experience for Base Power Electricians
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of residential electrical systems
  • Customer-focused communication; comfortable explaining solutions and upgrade options
  • Detail-oriented craftsperson who values quality and consistency
  • Results-driven, proactive problem solver with a "whatever it takes" mindset
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving history
  • Valid TX Residential Electrical license
  • Willing to undergo pre-employment background checks, including criminal, driving, and drug screenings
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred (Nice to Have)
  • Generac experience (Power Generator lane)
  • Experience with service upgrades, load management, transfer equipment, or similar
