RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the service department, including technicians, service advisors, and support staff.
  • Schedule and assign work to service personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
  • Monitor service department performance, including revenue, labor hours, customer satisfaction, and repair quality.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints, resolving issues professionally to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with parts, sales, and finance departments to coordinate repairs, orders, and warranty claims.
  • Manage service department budgets, including labor, parts, and overhead costs.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor service staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as manufacturer requirements
