What Will You Be Doing?

As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for delivering prompt, courteous, and professional service while managing front desk operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival and departure

  • Checking guests in and out of rooms accurately and efficiently

  • Selecting appropriate room assignments based on guest needs

  • Responding to guest requests, questions, and concerns in person and by phone

  • Handling and documenting guest issues, escalating concerns to management as needed

  • Providing information about hotel amenities, outlets, services, and the local area

  • Answering phones promptly and professionally while accurately inputting information into computer systems

  • Maintaining cash handling accuracy, including responsibility for a personal house bank

  • Assisting with luggage storage when necessary

  • Remaining calm, alert, and professional during busy periods or emergency situations
