Job description

Service Coordinator

We are seeking a Service Coordinator to support customers and field technicians by providing technical troubleshooting, scheduling service work, and coordinating solutions across departments. This role requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems of corrugated machinery.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer and technician calls regarding electrical and mechanical service issues.
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation, typically one week at a time, depending on team size.
  • Schedule machinery installations and service visits.
  • Occasionally travel to assist with equipment evaluation, installation, or troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to resolve customer issues.
  • Support the Parts Department with technical questions.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Strong understanding of PLC-based machinery controls.
  • Preferred experience with Allen-Bradley (Rockwell) and Siemens PLC platforms.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of Omron controls.
  • Experience with corrugated equipment is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
