Job description

The Surgical Coordination Support is responsible for supporting the Surgical Coordination department with clerical tasks and patient services. This position requires the chosen candidate to verify essential information and records data within the patients’ medical record, as necessary along with being detail orientated with time sensitive information. Additionally, the Surgical Coordinator Support will coordinate pre-operative testing with facilities and patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule appointments
  • Answer phones, check messages
  • Communicates with our offices in Maryland and Delaware along with other medical offices and hospitals
  • Uses different systems to obtain medical information needed as necessary
  • Prep charts for medical clearances appointments

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service with a focus on problem resolution to complex issues
  • Experience in a high-volume medical facility.
