Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and knowledgeable Hardware Store Associate to work both warehouse operations and customer service. This role requires a blend of physical stamina, technical equipment operation, and product expertise to ensure our store stays stocked, organized, and ready to serve our customers.

Responsibilities

· Inventory & Stocking: Stock the hardware store, ensuring all merchandise is properly ordered, filled, and placed.

· Pricing & Accuracy: Maintain correct inventory counts and ensure all products have the proper tags and pricing.

· Equipment Operation: Safely operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials.

· Customer Service: Assist all customers in the store with their needs and product questions.

· Transactions: Ring out customers on the POS terminal and manage cash register duties.

Qualifications

· Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Technical Skills: Certified or experienced in operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

· Experience: Proven background in customer service and cash register/POS operation.

· Knowledge: Strong understanding of hardware products and their specific uses.
