Job Description & Core Responsibilities

Department: Sunset Steakhouse

Reports To: Executive Sous Chef/Kitchen Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Pay Grade: Grade T-1

Starting Wage: $11.13 - $13.51

Gaming Class: Non-Compact/Non-Gaming

Position Summary:

The Steakhouse Back Server will provide exceptional guest service in a prompt, courteous and knowledgeable fashion to ensure a pleasurable and rewarding dining experience while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

The Steakhouse Back Server is responsible for the following duties:

  • Provide quality guest service by properly greeting customers with a positive attitude.
  • Maintain knowledge of all aspects of Steakhouse service, as well as current and upcoming resort/casino
    promotions.
  • Inspect Steakhouse for cleanliness and order; rectify any problems or issues promptly.
  • Maintain constant assessment, order of guest tables, and help promptly, graciously, and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other Steakhouse staff to maintain orderly and comfortable dining experience by practicing
    consistent removal of used plates or glasses and prompt replenishment of food or beverages.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
