Busser / Server AssistantPosition Summary

The Busser/Server Assistant plays a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by supporting servers, bartenders, and the kitchen team. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized dining room, assisting with food service, and ensuring guests receive prompt, attentive hospitality.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain dining room tables before, during, and after service.
  • Quickly clear, clean, and reset tables according to restaurant standards.
  • Refill water, beverages, chips, salsa, and other complimentary items as needed.
  • Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to guests accurately and promptly.
  • Stock service stations with plates, silverware, napkins, condiments, and other necessary supplies.
  • Polish glassware, silverware, and plates to maintain presentation standards.
  • Keep the dining room, patio, restrooms, and service areas clean and organized throughout each shift.
  • Assist with opening, shift change, and closing side work.
  • Remove trash and recyclables as needed while maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by managers to support restaurant operations.
  • Qualifications
