Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Part-Time Server to join our dining team in a senior living community. The Server plays an important role in creating a positive dining experience for residents by providing excellent customer service, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring meals are served accurately and efficiently.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Greet residents and guests warmly and provide attentive dining service.
  • Take meal orders and serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Assist residents with menu selections and accommodate dietary needs as directed.
  • Set up and clear dining tables before, during, and after meal service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and work areas.
  • Refill beverages, deliver additional items, and respond promptly to resident requests.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, supervisors, and fellow team members.
  • Assist with special events, holiday meals, and community functions as needed.
  • Ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications
  • Previous serving, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and interact positively with seniors.
  • Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
