At our hotel, it all starts with you - our team of passionate professionals who create a seamless and memorable guest experience from the very first "hello."


We are seeking a part-time In-Room Dining Server at TOWER23 Hotel. This person will deliver exceptional, personalized dining experiences directly to our guests' rooms-bringing hospitality to life in one of San Diego's most iconic beachfront settings.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:


  • Provide attentive, friendly, and efficient service to all guests
  • Take, prepare, and deliver food, beverage, and amenity orders to guest rooms
  • Ensure each guest interaction exceeds expectations
  • Confidently communicate over the phone and in person
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, specials, and promotions
  • Upsell food, beverages, and amenities to enhance the guest experience
  • Accurately handle POS transactions, payments, and end-of-shift reporting
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of IRD areas, kitchen spaces, and guest hallways
  • Execute opening/closing duties and side work according to established procedures
  • Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with leadership

What We're Looking For


We're seeking a service-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume boutique hotel environment and takes pride in delivering memorable guest experiences.


Ideal candidates will have:


  • Previous food & beverage experience (serving experience preferred)
  • Strong communication and guest service skills
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • A proactive, self-motivated work style with a sense of urgency
  • The ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-traffic environment
  • A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently


Additional Requirements


  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handler certifications (or the ability to obtain them after hire with company support)
