Job description

Server Repair Technician

Location: Grapevine, TX
Pay: $17.00–$19.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Position Overview

VSSI Staffing is hiring experienced Server Repair Technicians for a technology facility in Grapevine, TX. Candidates should have hands-on computer, server, hardware, or electronics repair experience.

Available Schedules:

Monday–Friday

  • 1st Shift: 6:45 AM–3:15 PM | $17.00/hr
  • 2nd Shift: 3:45 PM–12:15 AM | $18.00/hr
  • Occasionally Saturday overtime may be required.

Four-Day Schedule

  • Saturday–Tuesday or Thursday–Sunday
  • 3:30 PM–2:00 AM | $19.00/hr

Candidates selected for the four-day schedule must complete one week of mandatory training Monday–Friday from 6:45 AM–3:15 PM at $17.00/hr.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair server hardware and electronic components
  • Troubleshoot computer and server hardware issues
  • Disassemble and reassemble server equipment
  • Replace defective or damaged components
  • Test repaired equipment to confirm proper operation
  • Use hand tools, testing equipment, and computer systems
  • Follow repair procedures and document completed work
  • Meet production, safety, and quality standards

Requirements

  • At least two years of computer, server, hardware, or electronics repair experience
  • Knowledge of computer systems and internal components
  • Strong troubleshooting and computer skills
  • Familiarity with Linux is preferred
  • Ability to use hand tools and basic testing equipment
