Job description

The Server Repair Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing server hardware to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role involves diagnosing hardware issues and implementing effective troubleshooting techniques to resolve problems efficiently and minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hardware diagnostics to identify server issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware malfunctions
  • Document all symptoms, test results, and parts replaced in shop floor tool.
  • Conduct and analyze server stress tests
  • Testing, troubleshooting and replacement of parts on servers for diagnosis and repair
  • Inspect, test and diagnose servers

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in electronics repair
  • Proficient in electronics troubleshooting
  • Experienced with hardware repair
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools
  • Must have Linux experience
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
