Job description

As a Server in our legendary music and entertainment venues, you'll help create unforgettable dining experiences that celebrate live music and great food. You'll take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure each table receives friendly and attentive service from start to finish. In our fast-paced, high-energy venue you'll bring fast and friendly service, understanding that every shift is about delivering unforgettable experiences!
  • Greet guests with a smile and sincere welcome. Engage in friendly conversation to cultivate repeat business. Share information about daily entertainment and upcoming events.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of menu and daily specials. Respond to guest inquiries regarding the menu, beverage options, and entertainment. Suggestively sell to boost sales. Communicate allergy alerts.
  • Proactively address guest needs. Resolve concerns with professionalism and positivity. Stay visible in dining areas to support guest needs.
  • Take food and drink orders. Input them into POS system accurately and communicate clearly with kitchen, bar, and guests.
  • Deliver food and beverage orders promptly, verifying accuracy and presentation. Carry large trays of food through crowded areas and on stairs and operate a tray jack in public spaces.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance, alcohol awareness training, and company policies. Request proper ID per company policy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures, operate POS terminals accurately, handle payments securely, and reconcile financials at the end of the shift.
  • Maintain clean and orderly dining and service areas during and after service. Pre-bus and bus tables as needed. Clean and reset tables after guests depart. Follow health and sanitation procedures in both public areas and back of house.
  • Attend pre-shift meetings. Perform defined opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all company issued steps of service. Follow all corporate policies, safety and security procedures, and brand SOPs. Promptly report accidents, facility issues, or unsafe conditions to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience
  • Experience in restaurant operations preferred
  • POS check and cash handling experience required

Physical Requirements
Speak and hear to communicate with guests and use both near and distance vision for operating the POS system. Stand and walk for extended periods, including on uneven surfaces and while carrying items. Frequently climb stairs throughout the venue. Regularly lift and carry up to 25 lbs., and occasionally sit, kneel, bend, and reach. Manual dexterity for tasks such as using a computer.
Working Conditions
Restaurant/bar/live music environments, subject to both kitchen and customer areas, with large crowds and elevated noise levels.
