Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior / Lead CNC Administrator to serve as the platform owner for our EnterpriseOne ERP environment. This role combines deep technical expertise with operational leadership and is accountable for the stability, security, performance, and lifecycle management of the EnterpriseOne platform across all environments.

You will act as the primary owner of the ERP infrastructure, driving standards, improving reliability, reducing operational risk, and coordinating across infrastructure, DBA, and development teams. This role is ideal for a senior CNC professional ready to lead platform strategy and execution.


Key Responsibilities

Platform Ownership & Leadership

  • Serve as the end-to-end owner of the EnterpriseOne platform across development, test, and production
  • Define and enforce standards for environment configuration, security, and change management
  • Act as the primary escalation point for critical ERP issues and incidents
  • Partner with IT leadership to align ERP platform strategy with business needs
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives


EnterpriseOne Architecture & Administration

  • Install, configure, and manage EnterpriseOne components (Enterprise, Deployment, Web Servers)
  • Oversee JAS (HTML), AIS, and BSSV architecture and performance
  • Manage Server Manager, agents, and system configuration standards
  • Ensure consistency, scalability, and reliability across all environments


Upgrades, Releases & Governance

  • Lead application and tools upgrades, including multi-foundation strategies
  • Establish and enforce release management and change control processes
  • Oversee OMW promotions, package builds, and ESU deployments
  • Reduce deployment risk through structured validation and testing


Security & Risk Management

  • Own ERP security model including user access, roles, and SoD enforcement
  • Establish and maintain role-based security standards across environments
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve security risks and conflicts
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and audit requirements


Environment & Data Strategy

  • Lead design and governance of environments, pathcodes, and OCM mappings
  • Oversee environment refresh processes and data consistency
  • Coordinate with DBAs on schemas, tablespaces, and performance
  • Ensure environments are optimized for development, testing, and production readiness


Performance, Monitoring & Reliability

  • Implement and oversee system monitoring (CPU, memory, I/O, database performance)
  • Proactively identify performance risks and system bottlenecks
  • Establish monitoring standards for EnterpriseOne components and batch processing
  • Drive improvements in system uptime, scalability, and resilience


Job Scheduling & Processing Oversight

  • Lead strategy and governance for job scheduling and job queue management
  • Optimize batch processing performance and execution reliability
  • Ensure controls are in place for job execution, monitoring, and recovery


Infrastructure & Cross-Team Coordination

  • Partner with infrastructure teams on servers, network, and firewall configurations
  • Align with DBAs, developers, and support teams on platform dependencies
  • Coordinate vendor interactions and support escalations as needed


Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and document standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Drive automation of repetitive CNC processes
  • Improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response capabilities
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve platform resiliency


Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as an EnterpriseOne CNC Administrator
  • Proven experience leading ERP platform operations or acting as technical lead
  • Strong expertise in EnterpriseOne multi-tier architecture and environment management
  • Experience with upgrades, ESUs, package management, and OMW processes
  • Deep understanding of ERP security models and SoD controls
  • Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience serving as platform owner or technical lead for EnterpriseOne environments
  • Experience with large-scale, multi-environment ERP implementations
  • Familiarity with Oracle databases and middleware technologies
