Overview
The overall objective and purpose of the Server Assistant position is primarily responsible for clearing away dirty dishes, sets tables, and serves as an assistant to a Restaurant Servers. They are to provide the highest level of service in support of the mission, core values, standards and goals established by the company.
Responsibilities
  • Clears and resets counters or tables at conclusion of each course.
  • Assists dining room waiters in the food and beverage service, set tables, serve guests as directed by the waiter, keep menus clean, clean table between servings, menu knowledge.
  • Assists with providing tables with beverages.
  • Removes solid linens and replaces with clean linen.
  • Transports dirty dishes to dishwashing station.
  • Polish silver and glass as needed.
  • Experience in delivering exceptional service and hospitality.
  • Display clear communication with the kitchen and front of house staff.
  • Attention to detail and knowledge of proper plate presentation.
  • Knowledge of all the ingredient details of every dish on the menu.
  • Delivering food to guest quickly and efficiently.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience within food and beverage a plus.
  • Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise.
  • Must be able to cope with frequent changing priorities and deadlines with a professionalism & collaboration.
  • Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
  • Push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs on a weekly basis.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to travel by foot, waiting and standing for long and short periods of time.
