Job description

The On-Call Server/Catering Staff supports banquets, tournaments, and special events at the golf course. This role provides flexible, event based service to ensure smooth and enjoyable guest experiences. 

This is a part time, non-benefits eligible, hourly position. This position has a base wage of $17.35 per hour. Position is typically active April through October. 

There is no guaranteed minimum for hours scheduled.  Schedule is based on business demands. 

Responsibilites

  • Assist with event setup, including table settings, buffet prep, and service stations. 
  • Provide attentive food and beverage service during catered events. 
  • Clear dishes, refresh service areas, and maintain event cleanliness. 
  • Break down event spaces following established procedures. 
  • Collaborate with event leads, kitchen staff, and other servers. 
  • Follow event timelines and directions to keep service running smoothly. 
  • Maintain professionalism with guests and event organizers. 
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines. 

Requirements

  • Prior banquet or catering experience preferred. 
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills. 
  • Ability to adapt to varying event needs and work on short notice. 
  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork. 

Physical Demands: 

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must physically be able to lift 10-20 lbs. numerous times during the day. Requires frequent walking and long periods of time standing.
