Job description

The first-ever full-service restaurant inside a Crate and Barrel store, the Table at Crate is a modern, casual restaurant featuring Bill Kim's morning-to-evening menu full of clever twists. The Table at Crate brings together the things we love best-connecting people, creative food and timeless design.
SERVER ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Promptly deliver food and items ordered by guests without delay and in a highly presentable manner according to table and position number.
  • Check each order for any special instructions and/or restrictions before delivering order to the table.
  • Be fully aware of service flow in the dining area.
  • Pull and arrange tables and chairs for guests when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times in accordance with restaurant standards, completing pre-shift, post-shift, daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as assigned by management.
  • With the guidance of the General Manager, you may be asked to train new Server Assistants.
  • Clear dishes from a table as is appropriate.
  • Carefully watch tables and fill water glasses and other drinks as appropriate.
  • Provide friendly, gracious, and responsive service to create a memorable dining experience for guests
  • Clean and reset tables and transport dirty dishes to dish room
  • Performing cleaning side work as assigned.
  • Support servers in other duties as needed.

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Have valid food handler and alcohol seller certifications.
