Overview

From banking and lending to investments, insurance, and wealth planning, the First Citizens Wealth team provides comprehensive solutions backed by trusted expertise. Here, your work helps power meaningful progress for the clients and communities we serve. 

The Investment Specialist works with our Premier Bankers and branch partners to fulfill the investment needs of our clients. The Investment Specialist develops an understanding of each client or prospect's financial situation in order to recommend the appropriate investment solution with the client’s best interest in mind. They also facilitate ongoing training with branch partners and Premier bankers to help them uncover opportunities to refer clients and prospects for investment consultation. The Investment Specialist team covers all 50 states and partners with branches throughout the First Citizens branch network.


Responsibilities
  • Sales - Promotes investment and securities products through sales outreach and calling efforts to mass affluent clients or prospects. Consults with clients and prospects to determine their financial needs. Provides a solution from the Bank's offered products, or refers them to banking partners as appropriate.
  • Client Service - Facilitates client retention and satisfaction by ensuring timely processing of client requests, workflow, and communication. Provides periodic reviews for clients and answers inquiries regarding their investments.
  • Risk Management - Ensures compliance throughout activities with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Relationship Development - Establishes a rapport with clients to identify financial needs and leverage sales opportunities. Serves as a relationship management point of contact for clients calling in. Build rapport with internal centers of influence to source new client opportunities.

Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in Registered Securities Representative OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Registered Securities Representative
