Job description

Cooper Septic Service is currently hiring for a part-time Entry-Level Weekend Septic Service Tech to help complete various septic services in the Slidell, LA area. This part-time general labor position earns a competitive wage of $16.50 per hour while training. After completing a structured apprenticeship training, the hourly rate may increase to as much as $22.00 per hour.

This part-time position may lead to full-time employment as full-time positions become available!

DAY-TO-DAY

This general labor position is part-time and typically works on either Saturday OR Sunday. Whether work is completed on Saturday or Sunday will be determined each Friday based on the weather. We try to have jobs every weekend, but some weekends we may not have work scheduled. Shifts could be anywhere from 4 - 9 hours long. Our technicians meet at our yard at 7:00 AM - 7:30 AM. We almost never work later than 4:00 PM.

As an Entry-Level Weekend Septic Service Tech, you are eager to learn as you work alongside our experienced technicians. You watch closely as each task is demonstrated, providing support by fetching specific tools and materials. Then, you help perform those tasks as they were demonstrated to you. If you have any questions, our technicians answer them and guide you. Additionally, you keep the truck and job site clean and organized throughout your shift. You love having the opportunity to gain new skills and take pride in the high-quality work you perform!
