Job description

Service and Supply Manager – Water Systems
Position Purpose
The primary purpose of the position is to lead the field service and supply chain initiatives associated with the commissioning and on-going operation of Evapco’s Water Systems. This position collaborates closely with other members of the Water Systems team including Sales and Marketing and Product Development. This position has primary responsibility for evaluating, managing, recruiting, and training the Water Treatment Partner network across the Americas. Additionally, this role provides business and technical support for Water Systems teams in Asia Pacific and Europe. The role requires effective communication skills (verbal and written), technical presentation skills, an understanding of chemical feed and control equipment, and experience with water treatment for evaporatively cooled systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Articulate technology innovations and product offerings to internal and external customers including representatives and water treatment partners.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with end-use customers, representatives, vendors, and water treatment partners.
  • Develop content for, and participate in, technical presentations for conferences, representatives, and water treatment partners.
  • Provide timely technical support for our internal team and water treatment partners.
  • Serve as a product expert, being able to answer routine installation, startup, and troubleshooting questions related to Water Systems.
  • Travel to support conferences, customers, representatives, and water treatment partners companies 10 to 20%.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Development on improvements to existing products, makeup water modeling, and new product introductions.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of field water treatment experience.
    • Selling, servicing, or supporting water treatment systems for evaporative cooling.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or another technical field.
  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schedules, and specifications.
  • Comfortable with electrical circuits, feed amp; control equipment, remote monitoring, and evaporative water treatment knowledge.
