Job description

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Prince George County Residential Treatment Center
3000 Lottsford Vista Road
Bowie, MD

JOB SUMMARY:

Prince George County Residential Treatment Center has served local communities for more than 40 years, providing treatment through structured programs for detox, residential care, medication-assisted treatment, and family education for both men and women. Pyramid Healthcare offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare to help clients develop the strength needed to overcome life's challenges and reclaim their health and well-being. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team and assist with regular maintenance and septic services.

HOURLY RATE:

$17 - $22/hour

DELIVERABLES/PRINCIPAL RESULTS EXPECTED:
  • Must be willing to drive a non-commercial vehicle to manage the septic system.
  • Perform regular maintenance duties, such as general carpentry, building repair, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, grounds work, janitorial, and septic work.
  • Under general supervision, perform semi-skilled and skilled building maintenance work of average difficulty.
  • Conduct a variety of tasks including painting, carpentry, plumbing/septic, electrical, and general mechanical repair work. Some tasks may require supervision.
  • Operate and utilize a wide variety of tools and equipment, such as assorted hand tools, table saws, hand drills, and pipe cutters.
  • May operate a pick-up/maintenance/septic vehicle in the performance of the job.
  • Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

General building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical, and HVAC maintenance experience. Valid Driver's License required. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Employment is contingent upon meeting all screening requirements in accordance with federal, state, and accrediting-body regulations.
