Your Role at Sephora

Ready for a career glow up? As Senior Manager, AI & Digital Shopping, you'll shape the future of how clients discover, evaluate, and shop for beauty across Sephora's digital experiences. The work you do will impact beauty as you develop AI-powered shopping capabilities, drive innovative digital experiences, and influence the next generation of ecommerce. What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute the strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for AI-powered shopping experiences across Sephora's website and mobile apps.
  • Drive the continuous evolution of digital shopping experiences, including guided discovery, product diagnostics, personalization, and decision-support tools.
  • Partner with the Senior Director, AI Experiences to define the future vision for Sephora's AI-enabled digital shopping journey.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and AI capabilities to identify opportunities that improve the client experience and differentiate Sephora in the digital marketplace.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Analytics, UX, Digital Merchandising, Loyalty, Promotions, and Testing teams to translate business opportunities into scalable product solutions.
  • Build business cases, define product requirements, and prioritize initiatives based on client needs, business impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Lead a test-and-learn culture by defining success metrics, partnering on experimentation strategies, analyzing results, and optimizing experiences through data-driven insights.
  • Influence build-versus-buy decisions by evaluating internal capabilities and third-party vendor solutions.
  • Manage external vendor relationships and ensure solutions align with Sephora's client experience standards and long-term strategy.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and use data to inform investment decisions and future enhancements.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a direct report while fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and curious team culture.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels to drive alignment and execution.
What You'll Bring
  • 6+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital product management, digital strategy, marketing, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of people management experience with a passion for coaching and developing talent.
  • Experience leading digital customer experiences or product initiatives, ideally within ecommerce or retail.
  • Strong understanding of AI-powered consumer experiences, personalization, recommendation engines, or emerging digital technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop product strategies, roadmaps, and business cases that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Analytics, UX, and Marketing teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data, experimentation, and customer insights to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

What You'll Get: 

The target hourly pay for this position is $130.000,00 - $174.000,00. The actual hourly pay offered depends on various factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses. This job will be posted for a minimum of 5 days.
